Emails

Content Tips & Tricks

Email isn’t old school — it’s personal. There’s no algorithm here, no feed to fight for attention. Just you, your words, and the people who already care about what you have to say.

If social media builds awareness, email builds loyalty — and loyalty drives sales.

General Tips

  • Lead with story, not sales.
Start with something human — what you’re working on, what inspired you, what’s next. Then weave the product or brand in naturally.
  • Make it feel like a conversation.
Write the way you talk. Your readers should feel like they’re getting a message from a friend, not a marketer.
  • Keep it short & skimmable.
3–5 short paragraphs or 1-2 key visuals is plenty. Don’t overload — one message, one vibe.
  • Add your link and code clearly.
Drop your affiliate link in-line once, and again as a clean CTA button at the end.

Pro Tip: The best performing emails don’t push the sale — they invite it.

What to Send

1. Drop Announcements

Let your readers be first in line when new collections drop.

Example:
Subject: “The new drop just hit 🌊 — my top picks”
Body: “Fearless just released new fits that feel like summer nights on concrete. I grabbed the hoodie — use my code FEARLESS15 for 20% off.”

2. Behind-the-Scenes Stories

Share your creative process and tie it back to the brand.

Example:
“Been working late on new beats — Fearless hoodie has basically turned into studio gear.”

3. Seasonal or Lifestyle Highlights

Round up your favorite Fearless pieces for a mood or season.

Example:
“My Fall Rotation — 3 pieces that hit different when the air changes.”

4. Personal Notes

When you hit milestones (new collab, first sale, creative breakthrough), talk about it.
It builds authenticity and strengthens the relationship.

5. Newsletter Collabs

Feature other affiliates, artists, or drops in your emails — cross-promotion builds community and reach.

Formatting Tips

Subject Lines:

Keep them natural — curiosity > clickbait.

  • “Break free from boring fits.”
  • “A quick story about courage (and a hoodie).”
  • “Something new I think you’ll vibe with.”

Design:

Use clean layouts, 1–2 visuals max.
Text-first works great — especially if you’re writing from Substack, Beehiiv, or ConvertKit.

CTA Placement:

Put your affiliate link near the middle and the end.
Example button copy: Create Your Own Wave →

Tone & Voice:

  • Honest > polished
  • Relatable > robotic
  • “Here’s something I’m into” > “Buy this now”
  • Humor and vulnerability are your best tools

Example Sign-Off:
“Keep creating, keep breaking free.
— [Your Name]
P.S. Use code FEARLESS15 if you grab anything from this drop. It’s fire.”
